• Send SMS notifications related to your assessment (with your consent)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform:

• Anthropic. AI processing for report generation
• Supabase. Secure database storage
• Stripe. Payment processing
• Resend. Transactional email delivery
• Twilio. SMS notifications
• Railway. Cloud infrastructure hosting

Each provider is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not authorize these providers to use your data for any purpose other than providing services to us.

4. Data Security

We implement multiple layers of security to protect your information:

• In transit: All connections to our services use HTTPS with TLS encryption.
• At rest: Our database (Supabase) and document storage are encrypted at rest using AES-256 at the infrastructure layer. Enterprise-tier deliverable content and uploaded financial documents are additionally encrypted at the application layer with per-tenant access controls, where application-level encryption is enabled.
• Access controls: Brokerage-tenancy isolation is enforced on every API request; role-based permissions distinguish owners, admins, and members; two-factor authentication is required for Enterprise broker access and available for all accounts.
• Audit trail: Login attempts, broker actions, and material edits are recorded in audit logs retained for at least 12 months.
• Employee access: Production data access is limited to designated administrators on a need-to-know basis and is logged.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information as follows:

• Assessment data and generated reports: Retained indefinitely while your account is active so you can re-access prior assessments. Deleted upon verified account deletion request.
• Uploaded financial documents (Enterprise): Deleted 12 months after the associated assessment is completed.
• Audit logs (login attempts, broker actions, edits): Retained for 12 months for security and compliance.
• Payment records: Retained per Stripe's standard retention (typically 7 years for tax/audit compliance).
• Email communications: Retained for 24 months unless deletion is requested earlier.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@bizvaluefree.com. We will action verified deletion requests within 30 days. Note that deletion may affect your ability to access previously purchased reports, and certain records (e.g., payment records, audit logs) may be retained to comply with legal obligations even after a deletion request.

6. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS notifications related to your assessment status. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or contacting us directly. We use Twilio to deliver SMS messages and comply with all applicable carrier requirements and A2P 10DLC regulations.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Right to access the personal information we hold about you
• Right to correct inaccurate information
• Right to request deletion of your information
• Right to opt out of marketing communications
• Right to data portability

8. Cookies and Tracking

Our platform uses session storage to maintain your assessment progress. We do not currently use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels. If this changes, we will update this policy accordingly.

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information.
